I worked for a digital agency for eight years and wanted more exposure to the client side. As Key account manager for B2B e-commerce I can fully leverage my previous background. And at the same time, I’m thrilled to explore the unexplored potential for B2B e-commerce that stems from the increasing level of digitalization.

Having an impact
There’s a lot of knowledge and experience already present in the sales team, and one gets to work with some of the world’s most leading brands – such as Philips and Interact. This ensures that I get to work on truly impactful projects and can help our customers in solving some of the biggest societal and environmental challenges that the world is facing.
Key advice: seize opportunities outside your comfort zone
Signify offers a lot of opportunities to shape your career and to grow as an employee. So, my advice would be to seize every opportunity you get to learn and grow, preferably by doing things that are outside your comfort zone. Those are the ones that we learn from the most.
Additionally, it’s paramount to surround yourself with people that you can ask for help and advice, people that inspire you. Be it coaches and mentors within the company, and also friends around you. Having such a strong network can be a true game changer in your career.
